High Season Hustle: A Busy Week at SEA Sailmakers

As high season in Phuket hits full stride, the team at SEA Sailmakers has been busier than ever! Our repair team has been working around the clock to keep the sails of local charter boats in top shape. From Lagoon and Fountaine Pajot catamarans to Beneteau and Jeanneau monohulls—and even Seawind, Bali, Hanse, and Bavaria yachts—the steady stream of sails has kept our loft buzzing with activity. It’s been an exciting and productive week as we help these vessels stay ready for their next adventures.

Meanwhile, our sailmaking team has been hard at work crafting custom sails and accessories for clients around the globe. This week, we completed:

  • A furling screecher for a Corsair F28, now on its way to Alna, Maine.

  • A 110% roller furling genoa for a Northshore 37 heading to East Maitland, New South Wales.

  • A storm sail designed to handle rough weather, bound for Dubai.

  • A lazy bag/stack pack for a Seawind 1160.

  • A full batten mainsail for a Tartan 4100, ready to set sail from West Palm Beach, Florida.

Yesterday, Robert, Sine, and Alex took a brief pause from the action to attend the AustCham Australia Day Event at the Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow professionals, celebrate, and enjoy a slice of camaraderie in the midst of a busy season.

As always, we’re grateful for the trust and support of our clients. Whether repairing, crafting, or simply sharing stories, it’s your passion for the sea that drives everything we do. Wishing you all smooth sailing and unforgettable adventures!
