Sailmaking Highlights and Annapolis Preparations at SEA Sailmakers

t’s been another productive week at South East Asia Sails (SEA Sailmakers), with exciting sail projects and preparations for the upcoming Annapolis Sailboat Show. With Iwiyisi and Robert now embarking on the first leg of their journey to the show, the rest of the team has been hard at work creating custom sails for clients worldwide.

Here are some of the highlights from this week’s production:

  • A Short Batten Mizzen and 135% Roller Furling Genoa for a Tartan 27 Yawl, ready for shipment to Norfolk, Virginia.

  • A Full Batten Mainsail for a Pearson 36-2, ready for collection directly from our sail loft.

  • A set of Mainsail & Mizzen Lazy Bag / Stack Packs for the Tartan 27 Yawl, delivering both performance and convenience.

  • A 135% Roller Furling Genoa for an Irwin 30 Citation.

  • A custom Powerhead Mainsail for a Hunter 336, designed for optimal performance.

  • A 140% Genoa for a Beneteau 40.

  • A brand-new Lazy Bag for our friends at Dream Yacht Charters for their Dufour 52.

  • A Lazy Bag Stack Pack for a Hunter 336, which is now en route to Tracy’s Landing.

  • A Roller Furling Genoa for a Morgan 43, built to withstand offshore adventures.

  • A Roller Furling Genoa for a Bristol 30, delivering a perfect balance of speed and handling.

The team also kept busy handling various sail repair projects, ensuring the longevity and performance of sails from both monohulls and catamarans.
