A Full Sail Ahead – Two Busy Weeks at SEA Sailmakers

The past couple of weeks have flown by here at SEA Sailmakers, with the team hard at work across a wide range of projects—both in our Phuket sail loft and beyond. As always, we’ve been proud to support local charter companies, private boat owners, and international sailors alike with custom sails, canvas work, and trusted sail repairs.

Canvas Work & Sail Repairs for Phuket Charter Fleets

We kicked things off with a custom awning for a motor yacht in Chalong, built for one of the area’s well-known charter companies. With Phuket's tropical heat showing no signs of letting up, this awning will provide much-needed shade for guests and crew alike.

In addition to that, our repair team has been non-stop, handling multiple urgent jobs for several charter fleets across the island. With boats from brands like Beneteau, Jeanneau, Lagoon, Fountaine Pajot, and Bavaria sailing out of Phuket daily, there’s no shortage of sails in need of a little TLC.

New Sails Off to New Homes Around the World

Our sailmaking team has also been full throttle, finishing up a great mix of custom sails bound for destinations near and far:

  • Sail cover for a Wharram Tiki 38 – Built tough and tailored for a snug, long-lasting fit.

  • A2 Spinnaker for a Dehler 36 SQ – A vibrant new addition now en route to the United Kingdom.

  • Short batten mainsail for an O’Day Daysailer – All packed and ready for Wayland, Michigan.

  • Furling Genoa for a Beneteau Oceanis 381 – Now complete and awaiting its furling mainsail before heading to Bauxite, Arkansas.

We also want to thank Chris in Texas, who shared a fantastic photo of his SEA Sails spinnaker flying proudly on his Schock 35—it’s always a thrill to see our work in action. And a big thank-you to Mark in Hawaii for the stunning shot of his SEA Sails mainsail flying on his Ranger 33 Tall Rig. It's a real honour to be a small part of your sailing stories.
