Another Busy Week at SEA Sailmakers
It’s been another non-stop week here at SEA Sailmakers, with both the repair and sailmaking teams working overtime—including Sunday—to keep up with the high demand during peak season.
Sail Repairs Keeping Charter Boats in Action
Our repair team has been working around the clock to ensure that many of the charter boats sailing around Phuket are in top shape. We completed repairs for a range of boats, including Lagoon, Beneteau, Jeanneau, Bavaria, and Hanse yachts, giving their sails a few more good seasons on the water.
New Sails Ready to Set Sail
Meanwhile, our sailmaking team has been busy crafting brand-new sails, including:
A 135% Roller Furling Genoa for a MacGregor 26X, now packed and en route to Braintree, UK
A Mainsail & Genoa for a custom charter catamaran for our friends at Infinite Travel Solutions in Chalong
Two mainsails for Hobie 15s, heading to our friends at Marine Al Bustan in Oman
A DN Iceboat Mainsail—a rare and exciting project
An Asymmetrical Spinnaker with sock/snuffer for a Catalina 310, soon to be spotted sailing in Portland, OR
New Chandlery & Drop-Off Point in Chalong
In addition to our work in the loft, we have also been busy setting up our new Chandlery and drop-off point in Chalong, near the pier. This will be a convenient location for customers in the south of Phuket looking for quality canvas work, upholstery, sail repairs, or new sails. We are looking forward to welcoming you there soon.
As always, a huge thank you to our customers and partners for trusting us with your sails. We love seeing them in action, so don’t forget to send us photos of your SEA Sails out on the water.
Stay tuned for more updates next week.
