SEA Sailmakers – A Week in the Loft

Another week has flown by at SEA Sailmakers, and as always, our sail loft has been buzzing with energy. From crafting brand new sails for boats bound across the globe, to tackling some big repair projects closer to home, here's a glimpse at what we've been up to lately.

✨ New Sails Ready to Go

  • A vibrant asymmetrical spinnaker for a Hunter 308, packed and ready to catch some wind.

  • A crisp new roller furling genoa for a Catalina 310, heading off to Alto, Michigan.

  • Another roller furling genoa, this one for a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 361, bound for the turquoise waters of Greece.

  • A full mainsail and roller furling genoa for our longtime friends at @asiamarine_thailand.

  • A mainsail and 110% genoa for a Norseman 447 Aft Cockpit, soon to be sailing out of Miami.

📸 Thank You for the Photos!

We love seeing our sails in action, and this week we’ve received some truly fantastic shots from our clients:

  • Thank you Christian, for this beautiful photo of your new SEA Sails 135% Genoa, powering your Rhodes 22 Continental on Seneca Lake, nestled in New York’s stunning Finger Lakes region.

  • Thanks to Giovanni for sending in a great shot of your asymmetrical spinnaker flying proudly on your Morgan 43.

  • Cheers to Guy, for the awesome photos (and the drink!) of your spinnaker powering SY Freedom, your Beneteau Oceanis 393.

  • A big thank you to Craig, for those fantastic pictures of your C&C 39 sailing in Argyll with a radial cut roller furling genoa from SEA Sails.

And in one of those great moments of serendipity, I (Robert Tasker) was walking past Phuket Yacht Haven Marina and spotted an Island Spirit catamaran proudly sailing with its SEA Sails flying. Always a pleasure to see our work out on the water!

🧵 Behind the Scenes – Repairs & Service Work

While new sails keep the machines humming, our repair team has also been hard at work. This past week, they’ve been servicing and repairing sails for:

  • Our partners at Dream Yacht Charters, Elite Yachting, and Asia Marine.

  • And several cruising yachts currently in and around Phuket, ensuring everyone stays sailing smoothly and safely.

Whether it’s a quick patch, a new UV strip, or full recuts and conversions, our service team continues to deliver quality and care.

Thanks again to all of you who share your SEA Sails stories and photos — it means the world to our team. If you’ve had sails made or repaired by us and would like to be featured, feel free to send us your updates.

Until next time, fair winds and following seas.
