SEA Sailmakers Weekly Update – Repairs, New Builds & Sails Around the Globe

This week has been another busy one at SEA Sailmakers, with our loft buzzing from early mornings to late evenings. From repairing sails for some of the world’s biggest charter fleets to crafting new sails bound for private owners around the globe, here’s a look at what’s been happening.

✤ Sail Repairs for Charter & Private Yachts

Our repair team has been working hard to get sails back into service quickly for:

  • Group Island Spirit

  • Dream Yacht Charters

  • Sunsail

  • The Moorings

  • Boat Lagoon Yachting

Among the sails repaired this week were:

  • Lagoon sails built by Incidence Sails

  • North Sails for several Beneteaus and Jeanneaus

  • A Rolly Tasker sail for a custom yacht

  • A Hood Vectron sail for a Hanse

These repairs keep yachts sailing smoothly and ensure charter guests and private owners alike enjoy their time on the water.

✤ New Sails Leaving the Loft

Alongside repairs, our sailmakers completed several exciting new projects:

  • A 155% Headsail for a Beneteau First 40, soon to be flying proudly off the coast of Los Angeles

  • A furling jib for a Takai 301, boxed and ready for Changwon-si, South Korea

  • A radial cut furling genoa for a Catalina Morgan 381, packed and on its way to Vojens, DenmarkGod sejlads!

✤ Client Spotlights – Thank You!

We are always grateful when our clients share their journeys with us:

  • A big thank you to the team at @celebration_sailboat for the fantastic video from Panama, showing their unique wishbone rig sporting brand-new SEA Sails. It’s always a thrill to see our sails in action on the water.

  • And an extra special thank you to Geraldo, not only for the incredible photos of his SEA Sails mainsail and jib flying beautifully on his Norseman 447 Aft Cockpit, but also for trusting us to be part of his sailing adventures.

✤ Fair Winds Until Next Time

From local waters to faraway seas, it’s an honour to see SEA Sails powering boats across the world. Whether repairing a seasoned workhorse or crafting a brand-new design, our goal remains the same: quality, performance, and the joy of sailing.
