SEA Sailmakers: Work, Wind, and a Touch of Magic – Our Latest Creations

As the high season winds down, things haven’t exactly “slowed down” here at SEA Sailmakers. Over the past few weeks, our loft has been buzzing with energy as we’ve completed a new batch of sails bound for waters near and far.

New Sails Just Off the Machines:

  • A stunning Asymmetrical Spinnaker for a Morgan 43, packed and ready to fly.

  • A Roller Furling Genoa for a Rhodes Continental, heading straight for the Big Apple.

  • A crisp Roller Furling Genoa for a Custom Ketch, soon to grace the lakes and peaks of Switzerland.

  • A Full Batten Mainsail for a classic Hallberg-Rassy 352, prepped for collection at our loft.

  • A powerful 150% Roller Furling Genoa for a Cole 31, now en route to the stunning shores of Tasmania.

  • A High Roach Mainsail for our friends at @DreamYachtWorldwide, fitted for one of their Bali 4.1 charter cats.

  • A Roller Furling Genoa for an elegant Amphora Wauquiez, bound for Jakarta.

  • A durable Full Batten Mainsail for a Beneteau 45F5, boxed and ready for Malaysia.

  • A sleek Full Batten Mainsail for a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 36i, soon to sail around the Greek isles.

Repairs in Full Swing: While new sails have been flying out the door, our repair team has been just as busy. We’ve been patching, reinforcing, and restitching sails for a variety of monohulls and catamarans including Lagoon 380s, Fountaine Pajot Lavezzi 40s, Beneteau Oceanis 393s, and Catalina 36s. From roller furling Genoas to spinnakers and UV covers, no job is too big—or too small—for our seasoned crew.

“Cruising down to the trades, squeezing what I can out of the little puffs of wind. I saw dolphins, a sea snake, and pilot whales yesterday. I swear on my dead grandma’s grave that I also saw a UFO the night before… It’s true that I am sleep deprived, and seeing triple… but catching up with my friends Alicia & Phil on the trimaran Sunbird was a real high point.”

  • Thank you Meghan for introducing us to Maggie, standing proudly in front of her brand new SEA Sails Roller Furling Genoa.

  • And thank you Bryan for this fantastic photo of your SEA Sails mainsail flying proudly aboard your Catalina 42 MKII.

From Phuket to Patagonia, Koh Chang to Cape Cod, your SEA Sails are traveling the globe. Thank you for trusting us with your journey.
