S.E.A. Sailmakers Weekly Update — Repairs, New Sails & Global Adventures

It’s been another busy and exciting week here at S.E.A. Sailmakers, with the team hard at work across sailmaking, repairs, and supporting some of our friends currently competing in the King’s Cup Regatta taking place right now in Phuket.

A Week Full of Repairs & Regatta Prep

Our repair loft has been bustling, working on sails from a wide range of private owners including Beneteau, Jeanneau, Catalina, and Lagoon, handling everything from torn leeches to UV repairs and full recuts.

We also took on a large Doyle spinnaker needing reinforcement and prep work to ensure it was race-ready in time for this year’s King’s Cup Regatta. We're proud to support competitors by keeping their sails strong, fast, and reliable for the big event.

🧵 Sailmaking Projects Completed This Week

Despite the volume of repairs, our sailmaking floor has been just as productive, completing an impressive lineup of custom sails heading to sailors all over the world:

  • Full Battened Mainsail and Hank-on Jib with Reef Points for a MacGregor 26S — soon to be seen sailing the coast of Canada

  • Lazy Bag for a Jeanneau Sun Magic 44

  • In-mast Furling Mainsail for a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 54DS

  • In-mast Furling Mainsail for a Rhodes 22 Continental on its way to New York City!

  • Lazy Bag for a Lagoon 470, going to our friends at Amon Tours in Krabi

  • Asymmetrical Spinnaker for a Beneteau First, soon headed for Ireland

  • Roller Furling Genoa for a Sun Odyssey 54DS, soon to be seen sailing the crystal-clear waters of Grenada

  • Full Batten Mainsail and Roller Furling Genoa for a Hunter Passage 42 on its way to Florida

  • 135% Roller Furling Genoa for a Hunter 30-2, finished and ready for beautiful Quebec

  • 135% Roller Furling Genoa for a Bavaria 46, heading to our partner Quino in Puerto Rico

Each sail is built with the same care, detail, and quality that defines S.E.A. Sailmakers — and it’s always exciting to see our work travel to so many corners of the world.
